Where We Help

RADAR focuses on helping dogs in rural county shelter in Appalachia and the Southeast. We have included Indiana, as we have assisted a few dogs in rural counties located in Indiana. Our definition of rural is a county that has a population density of 250 people or less per square mile.

Below is a map of the region we help. Dogs we assist must be from shelters in these states and eligible counties. Please click on the state abbreviation to see a list of counties in those states that are eligible for RADAR assistance. Please note – we cannot offer assistance for every request that we receive. We also suggest that you take a look at our Application Qualifications and Requirements.
