Baby Girl was more like a senior girl! Estimated to be 10 years old, Baby Girl is an American Pit Bull Terrier mix who ended up in the Harnett County Animal Shelter in North Carolina on September 21st. Baby Girl was scared to be at the shelter. From the small cuts on her, it was suspected that she had been used in a fight. Now she was in a different kind of fight for her life at this overcrowded rural shelter.
On September 28th Chris Leone, RADAR’s liaison for the Harnett County Animal Shelter, asked us to help Baby Girl. We provided an offer to help cover her vetting costs as an incentive for a rescue to take her. On September 29th Adopt Me Animal Rescue in Wisconsin agreed to take Baby Girl! She had her initial vetting and spaying done on October 12th. Fortunately, she tested heartworm negative.
We were told this about Baby Girl: “She’s a real love. She’s a sweet, sweet girl who’s getting along well in her foster home. She’s potty trained and doesn’t need a crate. She gets along with the foster’s dog.” To view more photos of Baby Girl, click here.
RADAR paid towards the initial vetting and spaying costs for Baby Girl.
