Baron, with his handsome tuxedo-like coat and perfect gentlemanly manners, sure lives up to his name! Approximately two years old and a blend of Mountain Dog and Husky, he arrived at the Harnett County Animal Shelter in North Carolina on March 1st. While we don’t how or why Baron ended up at the shelter, we do know that he was heartworm positive, with his life in jeopardy at the shelter.
On March 25th, Red Barn Rescue in North Carolina requested RADAR’s help with Baron’s heartworm treatment costs. If so, the rescue would pull him from the shelter the next day. We agreed at once. He received his heartworm treatment on April 25th.
The rescue shared this with us: “Baron is such a sweet and easy-going individual. He loves all dogs, has perfect manners, is affectionate and quite handsome. He would be an excellent family dog, trustworthy with even small children. At an adoption outing he was a star and a perfect gentleman in spite of all the chaos. He is like a big teddy bear!” To see more photos of Baron, click here.
RADAR paid all $351 of the heartworm treatment costs for Baron.
