Brenda

Next on the agenda is Brenda! This two-year-old German Shepherd mix was surrendered to animal control on March 9th and taken to the Jasper Animal Rescue Mission (JARM) shelter in Jasper County, South Carolina. While we don’t know why Brenda was surrendered, we do know that she was heartworm positive.

On March 29th, Erin Padgitt with One Love Animal Rescue in Georgia asked for RADAR’s assistance with Brenda. If the rescue could get financial help for her heartworm treatment costs, they would take her. We agreed so that Brenda could secure safe rescue! She received her heartworm treatment on April 25th.

“Brenda is happy and energetic!” Erin shared with us. “She just loves to be outside running around. She would make a great running partner or play mate for a house full of children. Brenda would be best as the only pet in the home.” Click here to view more photos of Brenda.

RADAR paid all of Brenda’s heartworm treatment costs, which totaled $218.
