Buster

Little Buster isn’t even a year old, but stands his ground with anyone! This Chihuahua-Jack Russell-Shih Tzu mix was picked up as a stray and taken to the Coweta County Animal Control shelter in Georgia. Luckily for Buster, once he was pulled from the shelter for his trip to Canada, he was able to stay with a temporary foster family with children. This helped him acclimate to a home environment and be better prepared for his future forever home.

Buster is one of 20 dogs who took part in the incredible “Underdogs Railroad Shuffle Off to Buffalo” transport on December 8th and 9th. The dogs were pulled from a high-kill shelter in Georgia, where volunteers got them vetted and provided temporary boarding. RADAR paid for the dogs’ transport to Buffalo, New York, where LotsaDogs Rescue received them and took them on the last leg of their long journey to Whitby, Ontario.
