Clementine couldn’t be any sweeter! Almost a year and a half old, this Retriever mix was brought into the Jasper Animal Rescue Mission (JARM) shelter in Jasper County, South Carolina way back last year on May 1st. She arrived as a stray and ended up being adopted from the shelter in August. Unfortunately, Clementine was returned after less than two months because she was “too active.” With little room in the shelter, Clementine’s chances of finding a forever home were dwindling, especially as she was heartworm positive.

Thankfully, there was still hope for Clementine. On January 19th, Caitlyn Schake with JARM and Erin Padgitt with One Love Animal Rescue in Savannah, Georgia reached out to RADAR to see if we could help. We offered to provide assistance with the cost of Clementine’s heartworm treatment, and she was safe! She got her treatment on February 14th.

Clementine has a delightfully big personality, and yes, she’s active–because she’s so full of life! She was described to us as being very playful, friendly, and outgoing. She is good around kids, great with other dogs of all sizes, and she is cat friendly. Click here to view more photos of Clementine.

RADAR paid all of Clementine’s heartworm treatment costs, which totaled $208.

UPDATE! All funds for Clementine have been raised! Thank you!
