Dino is no dinosaur! Found as a stray on February 4th, three-year-old Dino was taken to the Bertie County Humane Society shelter in North Carolina. Dino faced being as extinct as a dinosaur at this small, rural high-kill shelter. Being a Pit Bull Terrier mix did not help Dino’s chances.
On April 20th, shelter animal advocate Barbara Keller requested RADAR’s help with Dino. We offered to help with Dino’s vetting costs. With Dino’s time about up, on April 27th, volunteers with the Bertie County Humane Society pulled him from the shelter. He received his initial vetting and neutering on May 2nd.
We were told this about Dino: “He loves people and other dogs, but not cats. Dino is a playful guy with a happy outlook. In his foster home he has a canine brother and sister, and loves to play with them.” To view more photos of Dino, click here.
RADAR paid $150 towards the initial vetting and neutering costs for Dino.
