Join us on the journey of fulfilling Fantasia’s fantasy to find her forever home! Approximately five years old, this Bully Breed mix ended up at Chesterfield County Animal Services shelter in South Carolina on September 27th. She was emaciated and had been an overbred momma dog for far too long. Sadly, her breed and heartworm positive status made it difficult for the shelter to find anyone that would take Fantasia.

On October 3rd, Julie Bender of South of the Bully Rescue in North Carolina, an organization that focuses on the rescue and placement of homeless Bully Breed dogs, reached out to us to see if we could help with Fantasia. “We’d love to pull her,” Julie said, “but we need help with the heartworm treatment costs.” RADAR agreed to provide assistance! She got her treatment on October 31st.

“Fantasia is a sweetheart who tests well with all dogs, cats, kids and everything,” Julie told us. “She is super laid-back. Fantasia thinks every living creature hung the moon! She’s just a delightful dog overall.” To see more photos of Fantasia, click here.

RADAR paid all $250 of the heartworm treatment costs for Fantasia.
