Would we help Hadley? Yes, and gladly! Approximately two years old and a Labrador Retriever mix, Hadley was one of three dogs surrendered to animal control by her owner. On January 19th, the underweight dogs were taken to the Jasper Animal Rescue Mission (JARM) shelter in Jasper County, South Carolina. While the other two dogs were both heartworm negative and got pulled quickly, Hadley had no such good luck. Being a black dog and heartworm positive greatly limited her rescue or adoption options.

On March 24th, Erin Padgitt with One Love Animal Rescue in Georgia asked RADAR for help with Hadley. The rescue would pull Hadley if we could cover the cost of her heartworm treatment. We agreed. Hadley had her heartworm treatment done on March 29th.

“Hadley is a happy and active girl!” Erin told us. “She loves to play with other dogs and loves her toys. She is full of personality!” To see more photos of Hadley, click here.

RADAR paid all $218 of the heartworm treatment costs for Hadley.

UPDATE! All funds for Hadley have been raised! Thank you!
