Keela

Keela is sweet, good natured, and laid back. And that’s a good thing since she is big girl, weighing in at more than 90 lbs. Keela is a three-year-old Black Lab-Mastiff mix who was found wandering as a stray. She was taken to the Coweta County Animal Control shelter in Georgia, where she had two strikes against her: big and black. Luckily, Keela scored a homerun when she was pulled for this rescue transport!

Keela is one of 20 dogs who took part in the incredible “Underdogs Railroad Shuffle Off to Buffalo” transport on December 8th and 9th. The dogs were pulled from a high-kill shelter in Georgia, where volunteers got them vetted and provided temporary boarding. RADAR paid for the dogs’ transport to Buffalo, New York, where LotsaDogs Rescue received them and took them on the last leg of their long journey to Whitby, Ontario.
