Latte was a stray in need of place to stay and a spay! This two to three-year-old Lab mix arrived at the Columbus County Animal Shelter in North Carolina on August 21st. Not surprisingly, she tested heartworm positive, which limited her chances of being rescued or adopted.

On August 22nd, Karen Steers with Peak Lab Rescue in North Carolina reached out to RADAR to ask for our help with the heartworm treatment costs for Latte. If we could help, the rescue would take her, and we agreed! Latte had her treatments done on October 1st.

“Latte is a super-sweet girl!” the rescue shard with us. She has a wonderful and calm disposition. Latte connects easily with people and loves to snuggle. She is extremely eager to please, and her favorite activities thus far seem to be chasing tennis balls, exploring the outdoors, and being around ‘her’ people. She has not had any accidents in her foster home and almost never barks!” To see more photos of Latte, click here.

RADAR paid all $207 of the heartworm treatment costs for $207.
