Lillie is a Bulldog and Staffordshire mix who has been through plenty, and she’s only one and a half years old. She was brought into the Blount County Animal Center on April 26th after she was found wandering the streets several times. Unfortunately, Lillie’s owners never came to the shelter to take her back home. To add to these sad events, she tested positive for heartworms.
On May 27th, Kristin Baksa, the shelter’s rescue coordinator, asked for our help with Lillie’s heartworm treatment costs. This would better enable Lillie to get adopted or a rescue commitment. Luckily for Lillie, we were able to help. She had her heartworm treatment done on June 7th.
Lillie has a calm demeanor but has a very bouncy attitude during walks. “She comes to life during her walks and does her famous happy dance,” Kristin shared with us. “Whether she gets attention from adults or children, Lillie never fails to show how happy she is!” Click here to view more photos of Lillie.
RADAR paid all of Lillie’s heartworm treatment costs, which totaled $356.
UPDATE! All funds for Lillie have been raised! Thank you!
