Oh, by gosh, by golly, it’s time to tell you about Lollie! This two-year-old Bully Breed blend was found as a stray on October 1st. Although she was taken to the Jasper Animal Rescue Mission (JARM) shelter in Jasper County, South Carolina, she didn’t have far to go since she was found in a trailer park right next to the shelter! Sadly, Lollie was at a double disadvantage: she was both a Bully Breed mix and heartworm positive.
Luckily for Lollie, One Love Animal Rescue in Savannah, Georgia, had decided to make a concerted effort to help with the many heartworm positive dogs at JARM in 2018. On January 19th, Erin Padgitt with One Love Animal Rescue requested RADAR’s assistance so that they could pull her and two other dogs (Clementine and Princess). We offered to help with the heartworm treatment costs for all three! Lollie received her treatment on February 14th.
“Lollie is a sweet, cuddly girl who just wants to be close to you,” we were told. “She is dog friendly and good with kids. She will also make one lucky family an amazing and loyal companion!” To see more photos of Lollie, click here.
RADAR paid all $208 of the heartworm treatment costs for Lollie.
UPDATE! All funds for Lollie have been raised! Thank you!
