Poor Miss Molley had no reason to be jolly. Her owners were unable to care for her, so they surrendered this 11-year-old Chihuahua to the Mercer County Animal Shelter in West Virginia on October 29th. As both an owner surrender and a senior, Molley was at great risk of being euthanized at the shelter.
On November 7th, Paws for Seniors rescue in Virginia contacted RADAR to request our assistance. If we could help, they would take Molley. We agreed at once, and Molley was safe! She had her initial vetting done on November 15th. She also received some long-overdue dental care.
Brenda Scamordella, co-founder of Paws for Seniors, told us this about Molley: “She is as sweet as they come. She seems to be house trained. Molley just loves to be picked up and loved, kisses included! She is a delight to be around and seems to get along with other dogs and cats. There is not much not to love with this gal!” To view more photos of Molley, click here.
RADAR paid $200 towards Molley’s initial vetting and dental treatment costs.
