Hi! My name is Moo Moo. I don’t know why they think I am a cow. I am a Corgi crossed with something, but definitely not a cow. And that’s no bull! Back on March 25th I ended up in the Mercer County Animal Shelter in West Virginia through no fault of my own. I had to sit there for a few weeks while some legal things were straightened out in a court case that I really didn’t understand. It’s bad enough for any dog to be in a shelter, but at nine years old, it was almost more than I could endure.
Luckily, on April 2nd a nice shelter rescue lady hooked me up with a great rescue in Virginia, Paws for Seniors, that caters to senior gals like me. RADAR, through its wonderful supporters, paid for me to get all of my vetting done and get my teeth fixed on April 9th so that I would be ready to start my new life.
I was staying with a foster mom and dad when I got the big news: a nice family wanted me! My adoption took place on April 18th. I am so excited because I have a new fur brother who also came from the same rescue. I just love to be around people and play in my yard. I also like to go for rides in the car, especially if we are going someplace that has french fries! I also know how to sit on my hind end and beg. I am so fortunate that I didn’t have to beg for a new home but I sure would be happy if you contributed to my Fund. To see more photos of me, click here!
RADAR paid all of Moo Moo’s initial vetting and dental care costs, totaling $256.
