Meet the Flintstones! Well, maybe not the Flintstones, but at least Pebbles! Poor Pebbles had been hit by a car and was taken to the Harnett County Animal Shelter in North Carolina on February 10th. Pebbles, a three-year-old Pit Bull mix, had many scars, especially on her face. The shelter staff nursed her as best they could, but what Pebbles needed most was a rescue.

On February 15th, Chris Leone, RADAR’s liaison for the Harnett County Animal Shelter, asked us to help Pebbles. We provided an offer to help cover her vetting costs as an incentive for a rescue to take her. On February 17th, Adopt Me Animal Rescue in Wisconsin agreed to take Pebbles! She had her initial vetting done on March 23rd.

We were told this about Pebbles: “She’s very sweet. She loves other dogs, cats and people of all ages. Weighing in at 65-70 pounds, Pebbles is a bigger girl. Her scars are healing nicely.” Click here to view more photos of Pebbles.

RADAR paid $150 towards the initial vetting costs for Pebbles.
