Hello, everyone! Just so you know, I’m Snow! And I’m a beautiful female Boxer mix with a Snow White coat (but no pesky Seven Dwarfs!). I’m about two years old, with a sassy splash of makeup above my left eye. I have a classic Boxer build and a very inquisitive face. I love affection and treats, which is important since I took a small scrape to the head (although I am loving the TLC while it is healing!).

I arrived at the Chester County Animal Care & Control shelter in the middle of October, and warmed up quickly to humans and other canine friends. Then came the bad news: I was heartworm positive. I also heard someone say that the test showed “high positive,” whatever that means. As it turns out, I was very lucky in two ways. First, I had rescue interest almost immediately. Dog House Rescue in South Carolina agreed to take me if I could get help for the heartworm treatment. Secondly, when the shelter asked RADAR on October 17th to help with my heartworm treatment costs, they agreed!

My heartworm treatment took place on October 28th. Thank goodness that’s done! So now I’m ready for some rest and relaxation, affection, and tummy rubs. I’m a lovable girl and all I need is a loving forever in time for the holidays. So, Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Click here to see more photos of Snow.

RADAR paid all $250 of Snow’s heartworm treatment costs.

What a beautiful dog. I just love Boxers.. I thought Snow got adopted by Bay Bay the other day. I will have to go by the shelter and meet Snow and see if she is a fit for my family.
