Despite his sunny disposition, more sunshine will not make Tanner any tanner! On February 19th, three-year-old Tanner, a Bully Breed mix, arrived as a stray at the Martin County Animal Shelter in North Carolina. He was very thin, weighing less than 30 pounds. Tanner was also unaltered and has some pressure calluses on his legs.
On March 5th, Jackie Stanley wth Rainbow Animal Rescue in North Carolina asked for RADAR’s help so that they could pull Tanner. We agreed to assist, and Tanner was safely out of the shelter two days later. He had his initial vetting done on March 8th and was neutered on March 16th.
“I adore this dog,” Jackie told us. “He’s awesome and loves getting in the truck. I’m guessing that whoever had him before took him for rides, because jumping in the truck is his favorite thing to do. He seems to know basic commands and loves attention.” Click here to view more photos of Tanner.
RADAR paid all of Tanner’s initial vetting and neutering costs, which totaled $203.
