Titan is the largest of the planet Saturn’s moons. It’s a cold, icy world. Titan the dog is a two-year-old, low-riding Pitbull mix and may have found the world to be a cold place when he landed as a stray at Harnett County Animal Services in North Carolina on February 21st. Titan was not neutered and heartworm positive. This dog was such a hunk but would anyone rescue or adopt him with a positive heartworm status?

Happily for Titan, Anna Cilento of Surulana Animal Rescue was interested in taking him into her rescue. Anna contacted RADAR on March 9th to ask for our help with Titan’s medical expenses. We agreed, and Titan was neutered on April 19th and had his heartworm treatments on April 20th and 21st.

Titan is described as cute as a bug and very well-mannered. He comes when called, and sits easily for treats or his collar. He is gentle and loving. And his squishy face is quite an attraction! Click here to view more photos of Titan.

RADAR paid all of Titan’s neutering, x-ray and heartworm treatment costs, which totaled $297.

UPDATE! Titan has been adopted! His new name is Toby!
